Memory Verses: Philippians 2:9-11

Would you like to serve Christ by teaching English? We need three teachers for our ESL program, starting in January. No language skills are necessary. Sign up with Travis or Heather. We will also be starting a Spanish class at the same time.

Monday, Nov. 26, there will be a Life-Line Health Screening at Highlands. See our parish nurse, Adria Greenwald to sign up.

The Jesus Birthday Party is Dec. 1, 6 p.m., at Linda Summer’s house. Make plans to attend and bring your friends.

Our first Christmas offering is today. This year our Christmas ministry will be focused on families in need within our congregation.

Session Meeting December 4; Deacon Board, December 11; Congregational Meeting December 9.

Our weekly budget is $3,300. Last week’s offering was $2,330.

Let us not expect too much from our own hearts here below. At our best we shall find in ourselves daily cause for humiliation, and discover that we are needy debtors to mercy and grace every hour. The more light we have, the more we shall se our own imperfection. Sinners we were when we began, sinners we shall find ourselves as we go on: renewed, pardoned, justified, yet sinners to the very last. Our absolute perfection is yet to come, and the expectation of it is one reason why we should long for heaven.
