Next Sunday we will celebrate The Lord’s Supper together. We meet in the Fellowship Hall at 5:45 p.m. – please bring a main dish and a side or dessert to share.
In preparation for The Lord’s Supper, the Session invites you to join in a day of prayer and fasting. Many of us will fast Thursday at sundown until Friday at sundown. You can learn more about spiritual fasting by clicking on the link on the upper right sidebar of this page.
Steve and Sarah Jones invite everyone to lunch at their farm next Sunday. You are welcome to spend all or part of the afternoon there between the morning and evening services.
If you have children in the Youth Group (including rising 6th graders) – please make plans to attend a Parents’ Meeting with Dan Hudson Wednesday, July 28, 6:15-8:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
Highlands will begin hosting the 16-week Jobs For Life program in August. We need many people to help this be a profitable, helpful ministry for our church family and our surrounding community. Contact Eric Self regarding ways you can help.
There are no Sunday School classes meeting for the month of July. Make plans to attend our Fall Sunday School Kick-off – a potluck breakfast on August 1st, 9:00-9:30 a.m. This is for everybody! Please bring a non-messy brunch food (please remember, no nuts!) and come to meet teachers, classmates, and get an overview of what this season holds for us in studying God’s Word together.
