Sign up today for the All-Highlands Church Retreat! It’s happening November 5-7 at Camp Vesper Point and is a wonderful time of spiritual renewal (as well as being a lot of fun.) Cost is about $50/person for all food and lodging for the weekend, with significant discounts for couples and families; a deposit is required for sign-up. Sign-up deadline is next Sunday, so don’t delay.
Saturday, October 30th, join us out at Linda Summer’s house for the annual Harvest Party. Pull out your best recipe for the Chili Cook-Off, and plan on spending a few hours enjoying each other’s company around the bonfire and on a hayride. Bring a friend!
Next Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper together at 5:45 pm. Please bring a main dish and a side or dessert to share.
All are invited to the Jones Farm next Sunday, October 31st for a hotdog lunch. This month is particularly special because we will be having a hymn-sing in the afternoon! If you have a hymnal, please bring it. As always, you are welcome to stay for the afternoon until time for the Lord’s Supper service at the church.
Ladies – You are invited to bring the gift of your fellowship (and food) to a potluck lunch to celebrate Naomi Self’s soon-coming new baby. We’ll meet Sunday, November 14th, at Sarah Rapier’s house after the morning church service.
