Pastor Travis is preaching an Advent sermon series on the person of Jesus. These services include a special emphasis on welcoming. Please pick up invitation cards in the foyer today to distribute to your friends and neighbors – we especially want to welcome guests who are not as familiar with the Christian faith.
The nursery is glad to accept toy donations! Please give any items to Lisa Roerdink so she can approve and process them for nursery use.
The last Awana program of 2009 is Wednesday, December 16. Awana will resume after the holidays on Wednesday, January 6.
Note: New Time – You can be a part of the Christmas Word Ministry by joining our doorhanger distribution effort on Saturday morning, December 19, at 10:00 a.m. We have invitational gift packets that we will take to neighborhood homes on that night; join us right after the service today to assemble them. With a handful of volunteers this should only take a few minutes!
Today we receive a special offering for the 2009 PCA Ministerial Relief fund. This offering provides assistance to Teaching Elders, missionaries and church lay workers of the PCA.
December’s congregational meeting has been cancelled and will be rescheduled in January.
We are having a special Christmas Eve Service at 8:00 p.m., Dec. 24th. Feel free to bring your little ones in their pajamas – this service will last an hour and is child-friendly.
