Next Sunday (August 29) we celebrate The Lord’s Supper together in the Fellowship Hall, 5:45-7:00 p.m. Please bring a main and a side dish or dessert to share.
In preparation for The Lord’s Supper, you are invited to a day of prayer and fasting this week. Many of us will fast from sundown on Thursday to sundown on Friday. If you’d like to know more about spiritual fasting, please visit the Highlands Church website.

Jobs For Life will begin on September 1st. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in attending this free 10-week class that will amp up your job-seeking and –keeping skills, please call the church office to sign up. The class will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Awana begins on September 8th! Please bring your children (age 3 through 6th grade) and their friends for a great time of playing, Bible memorization, and learning about Jesus. 6:30-8:00 pm, The Fellowship Hall.
