We still have a need for a Sunday School teacher and assistant for the 1-3 grade class. This is a wonderful chance to minister into the life of children and see them grow in the Lord. This is one of the ways we fulfill our membership vows!

The Session of Highlands is meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 20. If you have taken a new members class and wish to meet with the Session for membership, please contact the church office to ask for a time to meet with the Session.

Small Group Leaders Training is Monday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. All small group leaders and hosts need to attend. Those interested in small group ministry are welcome as well.
Although Christ is later in the order of the succession, yet he is described before Abraham in the generation of the Lord, because it is more to have received the promise concerning Christ than concerning the church, since the church itself is through Christ. Then there is one prince of the race according to the flesh, and another according to the spirit. The one is a prince by grace of children, the other through the faith of the peoples. For greater is he who saves than he who is saved.
